Shark Jackets
03:31
|
|||
Music and lyrics by Jack Austin
Feeling all the time that I get nothing from this conversation
(Shark Jackets On! Shark Jackets On!)
I would gladly hit the road with you without the slightest hesitation
(Shark Jackets On! Shark Jackets On!)
Why don't you call me
When you get the chance?
Why don't you call me
When you're looking for romance?
History is made from love and photographed with wild abandon
(Shark Jackets On! Shark Jackets On!)
Ties no wider than the ocean caused an unruly commotion
(Shark Jackets On! Shark Jackets On!)
Why don't you call me
When you get the chance?
Why don't you call me
When you're looking for romance?
Why don't you call me
When you get the chance?
Why don't you call me
When you're looking for romance?

All Over Town
03:52
|
|||
Music and lyrics by Jack Austin
She didn't know she had to compromise
But I could see it as I looked into her eyes
All the magic and the wonder turning brown
When I see her on the other side of town
Falling angel falling down
Her eyes were open when they came to steal her crown
All the kings in the kingdom would save the day
But when she closed her eyes her heroes went away
There's only one song
There's only one way to reach her again
And I see her having fun
I see her on the run
And I watch her falling down
All over town
Her eyes go skyward as she tries to explain
The pride of Pitkin County as she steps into the rain
Now he plays all her records every day
And he tells her that he loves her anyway
There's only one song
There's only one way to reach her again
And I see her having fun
I see her on the run
And I watch her falling down
All over town
Her mother said my dear, you're the apple of my eye
But the mirror on the wall says you lie
And you're the only one who's gonna die
There's only one song
There's only one way to reach her again
And I see her having fun
I see her on the run
And I watch her falling down
All over town
And I watch her falling down
All over town

Holocaust Walnut Bowl
04:01
|
|||
Music by Steve Robey and Johnny Hutchens, lyrics by Steve Robey
The cavity of fear on a crevice in your heart
Traverse the boundary of the least painful part
And test your will for you have to be brave
Just like your ancestors who lived in a cave
Holocaust Walnut Bowl
Holocaust Walnut Bowl
Can you take control?
Dark as your terror on a purple so deep
Are you born again behind the wall of sleep?
And freeze your fear for you have to take charge
Just like The Fear who is still at large
Holocaust Walnut Bowl
Holocaust Walnut Bowl
Can you be saved?
I can't run anymore
Watch me fall
I can't run anymore
Hear my call
Hey!
Taken for a ride on a wing and a prayer
How can you pretend that you don't even care?
It's a tough nut to crack so you have to be strong
Just like the ending of this kick ass song
Holocaust Walnut Bowl
Holocaust Walnut Bowl
Can you save your soul?

Tender is the Night
05:30
|
|||
Music by Bob Winstead and Todd Morse, lyrics by Moxy Barracuda
Tender is the night, and we were talking
But my mind won't let my heart outside
All these scars from all these years of struggle
Are the trophies of my foolish pride
And you're not one to hide from
Cause you know that the way's for travelers only
I have to keep on moving 'cause trouble's on the way
The hounds of darkness are loose and hunting prey
Tender is the night, and we were talking
Never mind, I just like to hear from you
I could tell you the things that are weighing me under
But that's something that I won't put you through
And then you go on and say you love me
And that just blows me away
The gentle kisses, the rowdy loving
You blow me away
But you're not one to hide from
Cause you know that the way's for travelers only
And you have such a way of making me feel so good
And chasing the darkest moments away
Tender is the night, to face the madness
I think of all the things we hope to see and do
But we can't let them keep us from our dreams, they keep us moving forward on
To a brighter future we've earned the right to live
And then you go on and say you love me
And that just blows me away
I want to share with you all my feelings
Like kisses in the rain
You blow me away
The gentle kisses, the rowdy loving
You blow me away

Be Yourself
04:30
|
|||
Music and lyrics by Moxy Barracuda
In the middle of a conference room, the military psych-op fumes…
“Is there any way to get inside the minds of enemies, of threats, of spies?”
So they test another candidate, pay him $20 to participate
They open up his mind and press the throttle, Look out it’s too late, the genie’s out the bottle…
Be Yourself - Free Yourself
In the Cuckoo’s Nest, concerned, they thought they’d try a last resort to patients about to die.
When the patients came around you’d hear them say…“the Genie showed me the creative way!”
Look out Moses, that bush won’t burn, the bark of the Ark will make your journey turn.
Tho God may be a “Double Malted Turkey Shake”, it’s just the freedom of the people that’s at stake!
Free Yourself, Be Yourself!
From the Kykeon Chairos we sing Demeter’s tune, the Merry Pranksters dancing on the moon.
In our DNA, the rungs of Democracy, come Drama, Scuplture, Art, Philosophy!
The spelunked mind’s a frontier unexplored, the Universe within’s a dimension we move toward…
For those whose insights frame the world we sought, I toast a glass to those brave psychonauts!
Be Yourself, Free Yourself

Watch Your Diction
02:52
|
|||
Music and lyrics by Steve Robey
Don't sing our anthem in a funny voice
This is the country of freedom of choice
Stand up and look real patriotic
To catch up in a race of psychotics
They're a bunch of meanies
Flag waving weenies
Trying to control your mind
Watch your diction
Don't cause friction
Truth constriction
Maintain the fiction
Please try to look the other way
When our President goes astray
It's our duty to close our eyes
Ignore the fact that it's all lies
In society at large
Progress seems too hard
If we can't wise up to the facts
Watch your diction
Don't cause friction
Truth constriction
Maintain the fiction
But what of me, I read my lines
I tell my friends everything is fine
I lie to myself and I feel free
What they don't know won't hurt me
My mental tax
Denial of facts
Why can't I be honest with myself
How can I reform myself
When I see the same all around
Watch your diction
Don't cause friction
Truth constriction
Maintain the fiction

Aliens on the Loose
04:02
|
|||
Music and lyrics by Jack Austin
He woke up with a start
He didn't know where he had been
Or that his name was Tim
The ceiling wasn't there
Or maybe he was on the lawn
It was well past dawn
Aliens on the loose
Aliens got no use
He stumbled to his car
The radio was static-y
As he turned the key
But fifteen miles away
In the sleepy town of Stalingrad
Where the folks were mad
Aliens on the loose
Aliens got no use
It was the same thing every day
The novelty had all worn off
As they scrubbed them off
But at a dollar ten a pound
It was cheaper than the local stuff
But it tasted rough
Blowin' up, comin' down
Don't know where you'll be found
Blowin' up, comin' down
I said the wheels of the world keep spinning round and round
It was twenty years today
That Brooklyn was transformed into
A stinking pile of goo
But from the millions on the Mall
I saw her in a flash of light
Telling me goodnight
Aliens on the loose
Aliens got no use
Aliens on the loose

Watching You
03:49
|
|||
Music and lyrics by Steve Robey
Watching you move with a pail full of sourness
The time has reached for the tray you pull about the nest
Watching you come, watching you go
Triple fast my way, I'll find you burning in the snow
Towing the line with a sign to feed the local high
Never trust your toes to that red gravy boat in the sky
Watching you come, watching you go
Watching you fair and watching you warmer
My bees in the trees start to wheeze in the corner
Watching you move with a pail full of sourness
What'cha do now with the tray you pull about the nest?
Watching you come, watching you go
Watching you fair and watching you warmer
Watching you come, watching you go
Watching you fair and watching you warmer
Watching you die

Run Away
06:48
|
|||
Music and lyrics by Moxy Barracuda
You've been my good little girl
As friends we go so far back in time
It's safe to say I'd do anything for you
As you would for me, but times have changed
You're no longer with me, and he stays drunk
And hurts you every day
Your friends tell me how you're crying in your shame
They asked me if I'd try to talk some sense into your brain
Hey girl, they say he treats you wrong
Tell me, what's up with that?
It's gone on far too long
So what are we gonna do?
Do you wanna get out of that trap?
He's made you think you're worthless, girl
And you're imprisoned by that crap
We know you're not a simple girl
Your smile can make strong men's knees go weak
You worry I'm the tour de force
Cause I just might sweep you off your feet
And carry you away from danger
Pack your bags, let's run away
Girl, come run away with me
I'm gonna get you, girl
I'm gonna set you free
Come run away with me
From the mountains to the sea
Together we'll be free
So pack your bags to leave with me, run away
I'll carry you away from danger
Pack your bags, let's run away
Hey girl, I think I got a plan
I know what I must do
I got my mind made up
I'm coming there for you
Come run away with me
From the mountains to the sea
Our secret fantasy
Together we'll be free
I'll steal you away
Whoa oh run away
I can't believe I'm driving for you
My plan's into play
I've lost my mind, I'm doubting -- on the highway
My heart is pounding thunder -- in your driveway
All these rules and laws that I'll disobey
Girl, I crack open the door
I see him knock you down
He lifts a baseball bat
I take him to the ground
We race toward the setting sun
The top is down, the wind blows back your hair
Your smile is grinning ear to ear
This is so much fun, outrun the sirens and the fear
To Mexico, Virginia Beach, Venice, Bali, Monaco
The mountains of the moon
It doesn't matter where we hide
All that matters is that I've got you
You're safe now from all that pain
I have swept you away
Hey girl, I said I'd get you girl
I said I'd make you mine
You're mine forever, girl
Until the end of time
Come run away with me
From the mountains to the sea
Our love grows ever deep
It's our soul's serenity
Come run away with me
To the edge of history
You open up to me
Together we'll be free, you and me
Run away
